Mission 

 

  • The Chicago Women's AIDS Project (CWAP) provides prevention education, advococy and support for women at risk or living with HIV in the Chicago area.

 

  • Our overall mission is to empower women to get the support, information and services they need to take control of their own health, and to live as fully and as productively as possible.

2007 AIDS Run & Walk Team

 

Date: Saturday, September 15. 2007

 

Time: 8:00a.m. - 9:50a.m. (Registration)

 

            9:55a.m. - 10:00a.m. (5k Walk Begins)

 

Cost: (Free for CWAP clients)

           Non -Clients: Online Pre-Registration $20

          

           On-site registration is $25

 

Location: Grant Park--Columbus and Balbo.  Meet at 9:30am at small team area (torwards Lakeshore Drive on Balbo in Hutchinson field)

 

**All $$$ raised by our team will benefit CWAP and the women and children we serve!!!***

Yoga Class for Positive Women!

  • Enhance Your Spirituality
  • Gently Stretch Your Body

CWAP invites all positive women to a beginner's class in gentle, meditative yoga technique led by professional instructors with volunteers to personally assist you.

 

When: Beginning from June 11th, every Monday 6pm to 7:15pm

Where: 5249 North Kenmore Avenue
